Bid Online and Come to the Live Auction Reception
This online auction will conclude with a Live Auction and Reception on Thursday, October 30th at the Crowne Plaza on Somerset Parkway in Nashua. The event will begin at 6:00pmwith a preview period. The live auction will begin at 6:30pm. In addition to the art pieces other items will be auctioned off as well, including beautiful accenting fresh and dried floral arrangements. We will aslo feature custom decorated holiday ball ornaments.Tickets for this charity event are only $15 at the door, however, if ordered online by October 28th they are free.
Our 2008 Auction is Better Than Ever!
The Fourth Annual Art of Caring is a fundraiser in which various artists donate their time and talents to paint solid oak benches and 3 draw storage cabinet in different themes. This auction pairs the strength and diversity of the art community with the generosity of businesses and individuals. There are 50 pieces and all are well crafted functional art pieces made from select red oak. The beautifully decorated items will be featured on this website for viewing and bidding. Additionally, they will be tastefully displayed at various community locations throughout Greater Manchester and Nashua. Feel free to stop by the community display sites to view a piece that you might be interested in. You can find the display site in the description for each item.
Item will be available to bid online starting September 1, 2008
This is an "Online to Live Auction", meaning that once an item is available online, individuals may start bidding. Online bidding will be allowed until noon on October 29th. The event will culminate in a Live Auction Event and Reception on Thursday, October 30th at 6:00pm at The Crowne Plaza in Nashua. Bids will start at the Live Auction where they left off online. If you cannot join us at the live event, there is the option for absentee bidding online. In addition to the art pieces, other items will be auctioned off as well, including beautiful accenting fresh and dried floral arrangements.
NOTE: Winning bids over $400 will include free delivery within a 25 mile radius of Manchester generously donated by College Bound Movers. For winning bids under $400 a delivery fee of $25 within a 25 mile radius of Manchester will be charged by College Bound Movers.

The Art of Caring Auction supports The CareGivers, Inc. mission to assist the frail, elderly, and disabled maintain their independence and dignity through the spirit of volunteerism. The program's goal is to provide non-medical support to the frail, elderly, and disabled of the Greater Manchester and Greater Nashua areas, enabling them to stay in their own home for as long as possible. The CareGivers also provides a personal presence for individuals who have little or no personal contact with others. All of the services that we provide are free of charge. We are not state or federally funded. We do rely heavily on support from people like you who believe in our mission.
